Abstract

On May 10, 2024, the first fleet of 100 hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks, each weighing 49 tons, was officially put into operation in Liuzhi Special District, Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province. This milestone marks a significant step forward for Liupanshui in building a complete hydrogen energy value chain—from production and storage to transportation, refueling, and end-use. It also demonstrates the city’s progress in achieving multi-scenario integration under the concept of “one hydrogen, multiple applications,” positioning hydrogen as a key driver in its green and low-carbon transformation.
